Description
This position will be responsible for helping to assist in data quality project, data entry and conduct in-depth research on specific topics relevant to Gracenote's product and music market. Successful candidates will be creative, motivated, detail-oriented and flexible, and must be able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The position require about 1-2 days per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform fact checking, light data entry and other research of music data as needed
- Help with periodical cleanup of the music database, working with Data Editors in the Emeryville office.
- Research and Analysis of the music scene of up-coming Gracenote's markets in order to identify content targets
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for music and digital music industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheet, graphics and word-processing applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
