Creating personal playlists depends on accurate music file recognition and accompanying file information. A useful playlist should include only songs that have been correctly identified and linked to descriptive information, such as song title, artist, album name, or musical genre. Gracenote Playlist™ is integrated with Gracenotes Global Media Database® and Gracenote MusicID®, a technology that identifies song files regardless of their sources, formats or labels.
In the Samsung Yepp YH-1030 portable, Gracenote Playlist™ and MusicID work together to ensure all files in a digital music collection can be included when playlists are created. Yepp users can create tailored playlists as easily as selecting a single song from their library.
